- April 24, 2009 - Court waiting period over. Garrett's adoption is FINAL!
- April 10, 2009 - Court date
- March 26, 2009 - Petition to Adopt Garrett submitted to the court
- March 12-26, 2009 - 14 day bonding period
- March 12, 2009 - Meet our son!
- March 12, 2009 - Fly To Astana and Drive to Kokshetau
- March 9, 2009 - Fly to Almaty
- March 1, 2009 - Travel Dates!
- November 23, 2008 - Dossier is released from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and sent to the Ministry of Education
- September 3, 2008 - Dossier is in Kazakhstan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- August 20, 2008 - Redo our homestudy with a Hague Accredited Agency
- July 30, 2008 - Translation Finished. Dossier Sent to Kazakh Consulate in NY.
- June 2, 2008 - Finished our Dossier
- May 24, 2008 - Our I-171H is here!!!
- May 7, 2008- Fingerprinted Again
- April 21, 2008 - Adoption Education Class
- April 17, 2008 - Homestudy Edits Complete. One Copy Sent to USCIS for our I-600A and one copy sent to us for our dossier.
- April 9, 2008 - Final Homstudy Documents In. Homestudy is getting fine tuned by the agencies.
- April 3, 2008 - Received Our FBI Clearances.
- March 31, 2008 - Received WPA package with our first apostilled documents... ooooh fancy.
- March 29, 2008 - Homestudy Complete!
- March 26th, 2008 - Contract Received! We're officially signed on with WPA
- March 25, 2008 - Mortgage Letter In
- March 24, 2008 - Bank Reference Letters In
- March 21, 2008 - Medical Evaluations Done
- March 20, 2008 - All references sent to WPA. A Big THANK YOU to all our Wonderful Friends!
- March 19, 2008 - Sent Fingerprint to the FBI
- March 8, 2008 - Filed our I-600A
- March 7, 2008 - Application Sent to World Partners Adoption
- February 25, 2008 - First Homestudy Interview
- February 17, 2008 - Signed with Adoption Connection for our Homestudy
- January 9, 2008 - Phone Interview with WPA
